“this body lotion is it! i cannot emphasize how amazing it truly is. i was looking for a lotion that was quick to apply to skin, and would absorb without leaving a greasy feeling afterward. the sake body lotion definitely performed in that sense. i love how quickly my skin absorbs it and the smell is incredibly neutral and does not bother me. i never want to use another lotion again. can't wait to have this as my forever lotion!”

Before first use, unscrew the inner protective cap and dispose. To apply, glide stick all over clean, dry body skin in need of moisture. Apply generously, as often as needed. Gently rub in any extra product on your skin to speed up absorption and lock in extra hydration.

Frequently asked questions

Ceramide Body Oil Stick relieves uncomfortable, dry skin with hands-free easy application to target especially problematic, dry areas on the body. Ceramides moisturize and supports a healthy skin barrier.

Ceramide Body Oil Stick was formulated and tested for use as a body product. It can be used on the face but we recommend patch testing first to ensure it's compatible with your individual skin needs.

ceramides are a type of lipid naturally found in the stratum corneum (the outermost layer of skin). Ceramides make up approximately 50% of your skin barrier and are an essential part of the skin’s extracellular matrix.

ceramides play a critical role in maintaining a strong barrier to protect skin against dehydration, irritation, and signs of aging. Ceramides help prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL) by helping skin retain moisture. Additionally, around the age of 30, the extracellular matrix’s composition naturally changes and produces a lower percentage of ceramides, cholesterol, and free fatty acids.

the skin barrier is considered the stratum corneum (the outermost layer of skin) and the extracellular matrix. The extracellular matrix is composed mostly of lipids (ceramides, fatty acids, cholesterol) in addition to collagen, elastin, and enzymes. You can think of the skin barrier as a brick wall, the skin cells are the bricks and the extracellular matrix is the mortar holding the bricks together.

stop anything that can be irritating your skin (over cleansing or exfoliating, exposure to extreme temperatures, etc) and replenish your skin with ingredients like ceramides, humectants, and emollients. Our ceramide barrier serum contains all three!

our products are always formulated to be effective and gentle. however, we always recommend showing our ingredients list to your doctor or health care provider to confirm safety for you specifically!

Ceramide Body Oil Stick deeply nourishes and moisturizes skin. Its stick format is especially helpful as a targeted treatment for especially problematic, dry, and vulnerable areas on the body prone to discomfort.

Ceramide Body Oil Stick wasn’t specifically tested for use on babies and children. However, check with your pediatrician to ensure this gentle formula is compatible with your child's needs.

yes! we recommend starting with KP Smoothing Stick and layering Ceramide Body Oil Stick over it to lock in moisture.
